"St. Petka of Bulgaria"

There isn't a Bulgarian who doesn't hear for this saint woman named Vanga. She built with her own resources the church "Saint Petka of Bulgaria" in 1992. It become a place for worship for thousands of people in need.
The people said that Vanga stayed a long time on that place before she built the church. When they asked her "Why?", her answer was that on this place there had an energy, had had an ancient city, which was burned....
St Petka is painted by Svetlin Rusev. In view of the fact that the images are too realistic, Bulgarian Synod refused to consecrate the place. Because of this the building is called only "temple of Vanga". It is not mentioned the religion.
After her death, Vanga is buried near the temple. All the time there are many suppositories which light up it.
St Petka is located in Southwest Bulgaria, near river of Struma, in the place called "Rupite", on a few kilometers from the town of Petrich. There are a few mineral waters springs located just next to the church. There is also one big pool and two smalls - one for men and one for women. A lot of people come here looking a cure for their diseases.
St Petka is like created by God, with its beautiful flower gardens. Here you feel the spirit of Vanga, everywhere is so quietly. There are many Bulgarian and foreign tourists who come here to bending down in front of this place. The atmosphere make us to look at our inside world! Near the church is the Vanga's house where she lived before her death. Nothing isn't moved after that.
When you are leaving this place, you feel yourself sublimate!
